Points System

Tharwa's points system is how we reward contribution, not speculation.

Instead of retroactive airdrops based on random snapshots or sybil-gamed wallets, we use a forward-facing model. Points are earned through actions that actually grow the protocol during specific seasonal campaigns.

This isn't just about who shows up early. It's about who sticks around and adds value.

How It Works

The points system runs in seasons, each with its own focus, earning mechanics, and reward pool. This approach allows Tharwa to:

Season Overview

Status: Active (Ends October 1, 2025)

Earning Mechanics:

  • thUSD holders: ~20% APY point rate

  • Liquidity providers: ~30% APY point rate

  • sthUSD holders: Base rate on underlying thUSD

Reward Source: Portion of 20% TRWA supply reserved for community incentives

Security & Anti-Abuse

  • Protection of genuine community participants

Common Abuse Patterns:

  • Wallet clustering and coordination networks

  • Artificial referral and wash trading schemes

  • Bot-like behavior and automated farming

  • Sybil attacks and duplicate account creation

Genesis Points reward real users who genuinely contributed to Tharwa's growth during the bootstrap phase, not sophisticated farmers or mercenary capital seeking quick profits.
